Kuehne+Nagel will use Boeing 747-8F aircraft

Kuehne+Nagel will use Boeing

Kuehne+Nagel signs agreement with US company Atlas Air

The Swiss company Kuehne+Nagel began a partnership with American Atlas Air, which involves the operation of Boeing 747-8F aircraft. These aircraft are the most powerful among cargo aircraft, in addition, this model was the last produced of the 747 series.
Kuehne+Nagel is expected to operate the aircraft for flights to different parts of the world, primarily to trans-Pacific destinations that are considered unstable. The Boeing 747-8F was chosen for a reason. The airplane differs from the 747-400F in that it has a 20% higher payload and a 16% lower resource consumption.
According to the Kuehne+Nagel representative, the decision to lease additional aircraft was dictated by market needs and the desire to provide customers with a variety of options for the rapid delivery of cargo. It should be noted that the company holds a leading position in the air transportation segment, but it does not stop expanding its charter transportation network.
Atlas Air is the ideal partner for achieving this goal. This American company operates the largest number of Boeing 747s in the world. Understanding the regularly growing demand for air transportation, Atlas Air ordered an additional number of aircraft from the manufacturer. In doing so, the new aircraft will not only meet the current needs of customers but also contribute to the achievement of climate objectives. The Boeing 747 is quieter, produces fewer emissions, and saves fuel.
