Accelerated Global Solutions to benefit from KGW’s expertise

KGW Logistics, which operates warehousing facilities in Malaysia, has joined forces with Accelerated Global Solutions. The move will allow the operator to expand its presence in the US market. The companies will continue to operate under their respective brands once processes are integrated.

Accelerated Global Solutions (AGS) is a freight forwarding company. In November 2024, the company was acquired by parcel delivery startup SpeedX, led by Chris Zheng. Now Accelerated Global has bought a 15% stake in the Malaysian company.

The purchase is part of SpeedX’s strategic plan to grow its business. Zheng intends to build a company worth more than US$1 billion within 18 months. It will handle the entire logistics cycle of parcel delivery, from origin to destination.

Benefits of the deal for the parties

With the investment in KGW, Accelerated Global will expand its trans-Pacific and customs brokerage services. AGS conducts export operations using air and ocean transportation. It operates in the following countries:

  • Taiwan;
  • Vietnam;
  • Philippines;
  • China, including Hong Kong.

AGS also operates ten warehousing centres in North America and has approximately 300 employees. Its customers include automotive, industrial, technology, healthcare, and seafood suppliers. AGS also works with e-commerce retailers and distributors.

KGW specialises in ocean freight to North America. The annual volume of shipments is more than 10,000 containers. In addition, the company provides services in:

  • warehousing and distribution;
  • road transport;
  • project cargo transport;
  • air freight.
Accelerated Global Solutions

Working with Accelerated Global opens up new opportunities for KGW. For example, it will gain access to AGS’s extensive logistics network. KGW will also be able to significantly expand its service offering to existing customers and attract new ones. KGW will also increase the speed of order processing for e-commerce representatives in major US cities.

The integration of the companies’ expertise will help build a strong infrastructure that will enhance the company’s competitiveness. It will offer relevant solutions that are industry-specific and in line with global trends.

SpeedX business overview

The company’s business model is based on working with contractors to reduce operating costs. SpeedX also handles customs clearance for low-value shipments. The company says it works with more than 9,000 postcodes. The goal for 2025 is to deliver 500,000 parcels a day.
